Daniel Goleman and Sarmedi of Kanekes

The best seller Emotional Quotient’s (EQ) book by Daniel Goleman elaborate deeply the concept of EQ and give ample fact-finding to show us that EQ gives factor to human behavior, either good or bad. He points out that our society to day is lacking consideration on the necessity of bringing up children equipped with EQ. We solely make considerable attention to IQ (Intelligent Quotient) in school and in the workplace. These situations bring about individual and social disorder that day by day tend to increase in number. In short, Daniel propose that such disorder is deeply rooted to our educational system that is lacking thoughtfulness toward EQ.

People of Kanekes

Had Daniel Goleman met Sarmedi, a man of Kanekes, he’d have been surprised that Sarmedi even does not know how to retaliate if someone ‘hark’ on him. This Sarmedi’s community have no place even just for fusing and quarreling. Never had they have a history that one of their member commit a suicide. Never for the centuries. In English, they are as such as ‘cool’ as tree in the jungle. Quite still in harmony.
